Your kindness is special - and so are you! Thank you so much for washing the windows, pressure washing my house and painting the fence. Those were things I could not do myself, so I really appreciate it. Gratefully.

So many have remembered with the help of the news or people they know that were affected by the tornado last year with the passing of Good Friday. For me, April 10th is the day my life was turned around. April 10th took with it my home and my best friend, Madison of 10 years. That was a day of change that I will not soon forget. With it came other revelations about life; what is important and what isn't so important. I do know, that I am very fortunate in so many ways...
I wanted to take just a moment as I reflect and remember this weekend myself - to once again thank all the people who helped me last year and throughout this past year. I am thankful for the physical labor in moving me out of the house, into the storage unit, into the apartment and again into my new home. I am thankful for the offerings of peoples homes to live in if I needed it, for any monetary donations to help with the loss. Most of all I am thankful for the friendship, for the bent ears, for the hearts and love. With every door that closes another door opens. Of course, its not about what happens to you but more how you react to it. It certainly has been an action packed year in so many ways; not just April 10th, but also the year my youngest child turned 18, the birth of my first grandchild, and the year I turned 40. Despite the loss in ways, it was a gain in so many other ways. I continue to be thankful for so much that I have, not material things but the wonderful people in my life that I have been blessed with. Thank You again to everyone, Keller Williams, friends and new found family, thank you for everything. It truly is a blessed life! |

We delivered the coats from our KW Cares Coat Drive to Del Rio Elementary School in East Tennessee. The principal Jan Dellinger was so appreciative to have the coats for their school mall (clothes closet). She explained that the coats could be supplied to some of her students that needed them or to someone else in the community in need. The school plays such a integral part in this small mountain community and many times, just like recently when a family lost much of their belongings in a fire, families look to the school for assistance. The coats will certainly be a blessing to several in Del Rio, and we want to thank KW Cares for sharing with this community that means so much to us.

It felt great just knowing how we were helping someone less fortunate and to know those children would be able to have a great Christmas this year due to kind hearted people like those of you at KW Murfreesboro Cares. I purchased a Christmas tree for them and several other items myself. There were many people who donated gifts, gift cards and more. KW Murfreesboro Cares topped it off with their generous donation. I truly appreciate everything that each of you have done to help make Christmas possible for this family, including put food on the table for Christmas Dinner. Thanks again for caring about others. It is what matters most...without love and care we would be lost.

I have been with Keller Williams since I first got my Real Estate License in 2005. I came to KW because of the culture and the caring people at the company. Last year when my family's septic tank failed we were in a bad situation. My husband's 12 year old daugher came to live with us, with 3 other children already in the house. My husband's ex-wife was keeping the child support check. He was going to have to hire an attorney to change custody for his 12 year old daughter. Legal expenses would begin with a $2,500 retainer. My 15 year old daughter ran away from home saying we did not have enough for all of us and that she would go live with her dad who is a "convicted drug user". He was many months behind on child support and found out our septic system was not in compliance with environmental codes. He informed me that if I didn't sign over custody of my 15 year old daughter, he would notify authorities, we would be evicted and our home condemed. It was going to cost $3,000 to get new field lines and put up to codes. I was not giving up on my daughter. I was a bundle of nerves. I did the only thing I knew to do, pray and seek guidance. I went to a fellow agent at KW and told her my situation. She prayed with me. She went to KW Murfreesboro Cares and told them of my situation. KW Murfreesboro Cares secured the services of a septic tank company that was willing to do the repairs immediately and allowed us to make payments. KW Murfreesboro Cares helped us make those payments. With the help and support of KW Murfreesboro Cares we now have a working septic tank and the bill is paid in full. I can't start to express how thankful I am to work with such a great group of people. The only thing now is to try and repay your generosity. Thank you all and God Bless you! I will be there for you too and "pay it forward". Keller Williams Realty really does care.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13 |

I cannot begin to express my heartfelt gratitude for honoring my 72nd Birthday with RED Day! Last week, our Family joined together in a day of international service to others. You have set a standard of charity, love, and commitment in each of your communities. We may never know the true value and impact of this incredible gift that is a result of our culture and our unity.
My eyes are filled with tears of joy and my heart is filled with loving pride as I read your letters, learn your stories, see your photographs, and watch your videos sharing the amazing work you have done in your neighborhoods across North America. Homes have been rehabilitated. Hungry families have been fed. The elderly have received our time, care and respect. Our cities have been beautified. More acts of kindness have been given to others than can be named here. Thanks for giving your time and energy to those in need. You have not only changed your community and your Market Center, but you have changed the industry! Thanks for living our Culture in action! I have never received a gift greater than this. Bless you. |
